Max Verstappen tops final free practice at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The last session under the sun saw Max Verstappen top the timesheet as Formula one prepares for qualifying. Vettel had been in search of a hat-trick and had topped the sheet, but Verstappen’s late charge flipped the order. While Grosjean’s day had a torrid start with understeer, oversteer and a snapped front-wing.

A busy final free practice session at the Russian Grand Prix saw Nico Rosberg top the time sheet heading into qualifying. After split-strategies and split-runs were used amongst the paddock, the flying runs were brought to an end when Carlos Sainz crashed heavily under braking at the high speed turn 13. With protocol to follow to extract the driver, the session ended early as everyone waited for confirmation that Sainz was ok.

After yesterday’s rain cleared from Suzuka, the track bathed in sunshine and clouds as the Formula One paddock racked up the laps to catch up on their missed running. One man who was continuously on it was Daniel Ricciardo, but the pace setter at the flag was Nico Rosberg as the teams looked ahead to qualifying and Mercedes put themselves back on top.

Final free practice at the Singapore Grand Prix topped by Sebastian Vettel.
As the sun tucked behind the Marina Bay Sands and into the haze, Formula One prepped for quali as the teams took to the track for their final data gathering runs. When the flying qualifying runs were carried out on Pirelli’s supersoft tyres, Vettel posted the fastest time of the session with a four tenth gap back to Raikkonen. But in seventh, Alonso was just one hundredth of a second off of Rosberg’s best time.

It may have been a damp morning in Monza but it was not a damp squib of a session once the track dried for the final practice session at the 2015 Italian Grand Prix, held at the temple of speed. By the end of the hour long session, Hamilton had topped the leaderboard with the fastest lap once the racing line appeared on the slippery surface.

Peace and serenity at the spa of Formula One after a red flag free final free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. Although the peace and serenity at Spa-Francorchamps was blipped by spinning cars and a farmer’s protest, which they did not milk. In the end, Lewis Hamilton topped the session from Rosberg as the field prepped for qualifying.

Across Friday drivers were running wide, breaking down or steadily racking up the laps and this pattern continued into Saturday. For the lucky ones, they were able to just circulate the circuit, but McLaren once again were one of the few stricken with unreliability. Vettel meanwhile ran a calm session before the rain fell and drivers slipped around the circuit.

The rain that caused limited running on Thursday afternoon had cleared away from the principality, meaning Saturday morning was awash with noise rather than rain as Formula One roared around Monte Carlo. And after an hour of running, it was Vettel with his head held higher than the rest after topping the third and final free practice session.
After 60-minutes of running, Nico Rosberg topped the time sheets in the final practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix.
The weather in Barcelona remained warm and dry as Rosberg thumped home a fastest lap to carry the lead into qualifying. It may have been an “excellent, excellent” session for Nico, whose 1:26.021 ensured he finished in P1, with Vettel and Hamilton tucked in behind. But the session did not end excellently for Raikkonen.

In the 60 minute session in the desert, Lewis posted a 1:34.599 to top the final practice session ahead of Vettel by just seven hundredths of a second.
